RIDER'S UP... it's the day of the big event!

A Night at the Derby Auction will be held at Pickering Barn on Friday April 28, 2023, doors open at 5:00pm.  Silent Auction bidding and bar service will begin at this time followed by a live auction, dinner, dessert dash and a photo ops.

Our venue is the beautiful Pickering Barn, located conveniently in Issaquah - 1730 10th Ave NW, Map & Directions


PARKING

The Pickering Barn parking lot is located right by the barn with adequate free parking for our event. ADA parking is available.

Overflow parking is available on the first and second floors of the Costco employee parking garage, located just south behind the venue, but only after 6pm.  Parking in any of the Costco lots is otherwise prohibited.

DRESS CODE

Grab those bowties fellas, and ladies dust off your statement hat, fashion is half of the fun at the Derby.   

DINNER, DRINKS, AND MORE

We are happy to welcome Chef Catherine Hung and owner Ben Jablonsky of Pyramid Catering and Events as the caterer for our event. The team at Pyramid catering has reimagined the southern classic fair with a modern twist using local farm produce and fresh and house-made options to satisfy all your southern cravings. 

Cocktail hour will consist of passed appetizers of Cajun shrimp cocktail and deviled eggs, stationed apps provided by Twelve Baskets and the Kentucky Derby classic, Mint Julep signature cocktail as well as the Palomino Paloma.

Each guest will enjoy a plated salad at their seat, accompanied by assorted fresh breads including jalapeno-corn bread and honey butter.  Guest will also enjoy southern favorites such as BBQ chicken, beef brisket, dry rubbed salmon, garlic mashers, green beans, julep fruit platter, and mac n' cheese bar (menu subject to change slightly based on seasonal availability)

Beverage service includes, sodas, La Croix Sparkling, and Kern's juices. Non-alcoholic beverages are complimentary. The finishing touch of your meal will include Caffe Appassionatio coffee and assorted teas as we dash for desserts.

Each guest will receive 2 drink tickets when they arrive.  Additional drink tickets can be purchased using your bid number.

BIDDING & PAYMENT

All registered attendees will receive a bidder number, which is what they will use for all purchases and bidding activity.  Attendees will be asked to pre-register a card payment method at check-in if they have not already chosen that option during their ticket purchase.

All raffle tickets, special event purchases, cash donations, and won items will be added to your bidder number and presented to you on a final invoice during check-out at the conclusion of our event.
